Strategic Planning

Guided by the Holy Spirit, United in Building the Future of our Diocese

A Note from Bishop John Iffert

An Invitation

Dear Friends in Christ,

As your Bishop, I must constantly prepare for the future needs of our Church—ensuring we continue to proclaim the Gospel and pass on the treasure of our faith. After four years of serving you, I believe it is time to look closely at our accomplishments and stay open to where God is calling us next.

In this spirit, we are embarking on a strategic planning process, and I invite you to prayerfully consider participating in one of our four commissions.

I am deeply grateful for your support. Together, we can ensure that the ministries of our Church reach every corner of our diocese.

Learn about the Planning Commissions

Help shape our future by joining the Catholic Schools, Foundation, Charities, or Diocesan Governance commissions. The commitment involves four monthly sessions from April through July, lasting 90 minutes to two hours each.

You will participate in an initial kick-off meeting followed by three focused subcommittee meetings to benchmark best practices and draft actionable strategic goals. Diocesan Governance commission meetings will occur in the fall, and will be announced in July.
